State polls: PH candidate confident to retain Paya Jaras seat

SHAH ALAM - Pakatan Harapan candidate Khairuddin Othman fully confident of retaining the Paya Jaras State Legislative Assembly seat.

He said this based on the works done as early as a month ago in approaching the people in the area.

"For Paya Jaras, we are faced with three contenders, including a female independent candidate," he said.

He said this after the Candidate Nomination Ceremony at Dewan Kenanga in the Petaling Land and District Office, today.

Khairuddin will compete against Perikatan Nasional candidate Datuk Dr Ab Halim Tamuri and independent candidate Nurhaslinda Basri in the Paya Jaras state seat on Aug 12.
