Muhyiddin also alleged that the original principles of Umno's struggle no longer existed as they were suffering from the 47 charges faced by Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

He said historically, Umno has never been aligned with the Democratic Action Party (DAP), and it was considered a taboo to mention DAP.

"Because of this, Umno has always refused and was not allowed to collaborate with DAP. But how is it different today? So, this is very strange; Umno is now embracing DAP and Anwar Ibrahim (the Prime Minister)," he said during his speech in a ceramah for the Tampin Parliament at Felda Jelai 4, last night.

Among those present at the ceramah at Felda Jelai 4, last night.

Muhyiddin, who is Bersatu president said he did not reject the fact that some of those present at the programme last night were Umno members.

"Everyone here is a big family and I want to remind you, as a former Umno deputy president, even though you all are still Umno members, do not think that Umno is the same as before," he said.

Furthermore, Muhyiddin announced that PN will unveil its manifesto for Selangor tomorrow (Friday) as an offering to the voters in the state for the Aug 12 state election.

He said each state involved in the state polls will present its own manifesto.

"I would like to say that our promise is to introduce several things in the Negeri Sembilan manifesto, which include developing the economy, education, social welfare and other areas. This is our promise and when we promise something, we will deliver," he said.
