SHAH ALAM – Former Batu Tiga assemblyman yesterday claims that the seat is not an easy place to win, however it has always been ignored by the government

Rodziah Ismail of PKR said that it was important for Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Danial Al-Rashid Haron to stand out as a candidate in the upcoming election to ensure that the government’s agenda in the next five year prioritise the people of the area especially when it comes to mitigating flood issues.

"Transparency is important to be elected as a candidate and we should not emulate the behaviours of Pas members where some of them lie about their education background."

"As many people as possible should vote for Danial for the upcoming election. We must ensure that the government’s agenda in the next five years prioritise the people,” the Ampang MP said during a talk at Medan Selera, Seksyen 20, here, last night.

In further emphasising Pakatan Harapan (PH)'s efficiency to win, Rodziah compared the Danial to one of his opponents; the former family and community development minister Datuk Seri Rina Mohd Harun who represented Perikatan Nasional (PN) who had lost to PH candidate Aiman Athirah Sabu during the 15th General Election.

"Rina Harun lost in the hands of Athirah, our leader in Sepang because she did not do the work it took for a minister who holds two positions in the cabinet,” she says.

Without failing to take into account the factors to win as a candidate in Batu Tiga, she outlined her support to Danial and said that supporters who loved her should give mandate to Danial to win in the upcoming state election.

Danial who is the son of a well-known actor Haron Salim Bachik would face Rina, and Malaysian United Democratic Alliance’s (Muda) Saiyidah Izzati Nur Razak Maideen for the Batu Tiga state seat.
