Emir Research predicts state polls results three to three

KUALA LUMPUR - A study by Emir Research predicted that the Pakatan Harapan (PH)-Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition government bloc and the Perikatan Nasional (PN) opposition bloc were each capable of capturing three states in the state elections.

The research shows PH-BN is expected to take Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Penang.

In Selangor, Emir Research predicted PH-BN would obtain 35 of 56 seats.

PN is expected to take 13 seats in the state, while unsure on eight seats.

PH-BN predicted to obtain 18 seats in Negeri Sembilan, while PN-Pas may not win any seats in the state with the remaining 18 state seats undecided.

The PH-BN coalition continues to lead in Penang with 26 seats, PN-Pas (seven seats), with seven seats being uncertain.

Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu had PN leading with 29 seats in Kedah, 38 seats in Kelantan and all 32 seats in Terengganu.
