UNOFFICIAL: PH's S Sundarajoo won Perai hot seat

GEORGETOWN - Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate S Sundarajoo has won the Perai hot seat with majority votes.

According to unofficial live updates, he has 9,896 votes.

The four-cornered hot seat also saw R Sivasuntaram (PN) with 1,452 votes while David Marshell (Independent) has 1,371 votes.

Meanwhile, Muda candidate Vikneswary managed to woo 353 votes from Perai voters.

The Perai seat has been the talk of the town for the past few weeks since its former Perai assemblyman Ramasamy was not nominated to contest this time.

Ramasamy, however, announces his resignation from Dap on August, 10th just two days before the state polls.
