PTPTN Genius IQ contest winners announced

SHAH ALAM - The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) and Sinar announced 23 winners of the myPTPTN application themed contest named PTPTN Genius IQ, here, on Monday.

The announcement for the contest that took place on July 9 to Aug 10, was done live at the Karangkraf Media Group Complex and iwas aired on all Sinar digital platforms.

Prizes in total were worth RM15,000, and the first place winner was given the prize in the form of a National Education Saving Scheme (SSPN Savings) account and 999.9 type gold pieces along with PTPTN exclusive items.

This event was officiated by Karangkraf Sinar Group CEO Farah Hussamuddin and PTPTN Chief Executive Officer Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid, PTPTN Market and Corporate Communications Department Senior General Manager Wan Zawiah Wan Abu Bakar and Sinar Advertising Sales General Manager Airol Fadley Limin.

Ahmad Dasuki when met by Sinar said the event was the third collaboration with Sinar and the contest t was conducted through two platforms namely newspaper and digital.

He said the PTPTN Genius IQ contest started on July 9, 2023, to Aug 10, 2023, and gave a positive impact towards PTPTN and at the same time it could promote the myPTPTN application.

"The MyPTPTN application has made it possible for the public to gain PTPTN services from any areas without restrictions simply, quickly and safely.

"Looking at the very encouraging response, I believe that the PTPTN Genius IQ contest gained a good response from all parties especially from Sinar readers and PTPTN customers. WE saw the contest participation through both platforms was very high at almost 7,000 participants and this is very encouraging and has a positive impact on PTPTN.

"The contest was organised in conjunction with the Independence Month celebration in August annually and ahead of the 66th National Day on Aug 31 with the theme of 'Malaysia Madani: Determine Unity, Fulfill Hope'.

Farah during her speech at the ceremony said Sinar was honoured to contribute to the success of the contest with the cooperation of PTPTN.

"Throughout the contest PTPTN was committed to making it work and I thank them for continuing to work together with both parties until now.

Farah also thanked Sinar readers for always supporting any programmes organised by the news outlet.

"For those who did not win we will see each other in another contest, Insya-Allah. Continue showing your support for Sinar because that support is what would drive us to give our best for all," she said.

Airol Fadley said the third Sinar contest with PTPTN garnered encouraging support and opened new doors to continue their cooperation in the future.

"Our brand is getting stronger and we are planning on cooperating through other promotional programmes with PTPTN in hopes that this cooperation would continue to become stronger and achieve objectives set by PTPTN," he said.

The names of the overall winners for the myPTPTN themed contest were announced live through all Sinar Harian digital platforms on Monday.

The three main winners were Nurul Syahadah Md Zain (first) from Puchong, Selangor; Mohamad Thohar Mohamad Shamsuddin (second) from Gerik, Perak and Ahmad Azlan Arbee Ahmad Jamal Arbee (third) from Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
