"Guardian customers who spend RM20 or more in a single receipt will have a chance to win travel, health, and beauty prizes worth up to RM200,000.

"The prizes include a top prize of a Brompton Bike C-Line, the Classic Steel Folding Bike, domestic travel vouchers worth RM12,000, two days and one night Sunway Camp Out, Sunway Lagoon passes, Samsonite luggage, and other exciting prizes," said Guardian Commercial Director for Malaysia and Brunei, as well as Southeast Asia's Own Brand Director Anna Hull

Hull emphasised the significance of running this campaign in September, coinciding with Malaysia Day celebrations.

She encouraged Malaysians to explore their own country, appreciate its attractions, savour its cuisine, and contribute to the local economy by travelling within Malaysia.

"By visiting all the wonderful places of interest that Malaysia has to offer during the holidays, you can show your patriotism. The more people travel within the country, the more they will spend and help the locals," said Hull.

She said Guardian will collaborate with several social media influencers who will create content to promote this domestic tourism campaign.

"With over 600 stores across Malaysia, Guardian offers a wide range of pharmaceutical, health, and beauty products. Hull assured that Guardian stores are readily available to cater to travelers' needs, whether it's sunblock for a beach vacation, healthy snacks for children, or medication for minor injuries," she said in a statement.

Tourism Malaysia Director-General, Datuk Dr. Ammar Abd Ghapar, highlighted that this promotion with Guardian aims to showcase Malaysia's unique cultural and natural beauty.

He said that it will also boost the local economy associated with domestic travel.

"Since our local travellers need to stay healthy and well during their trips, it's ideal to team up with Guardian Malaysia, which has stores throughout Malaysia, including every tourist destination.

"We are delighted to work with Guardian, which offers all the health and beauty products for various types of travel, such as beach holidays, family vacations, highland getaways, and foodie adventures," he added.
