Budget 2024: Anwar delivers Budget 2024 with only two sips of water

KUALA LUMPUR - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim displayed remarkable stamina today by delivering the Budget 2024 at the Dewan Rakyat with just two sips of water.

The Tambun MP stood for over two and a half hours while presenting the budget, which he did with ease.

This is the second budget that Anwar has presented while serving as the premier of the Unity Government.

The government's highest-ever budget proposal, RM393.8 billion, includes RM90 billion for development, RM2 billion for contingency savings, and RM303.8 billion for operating expenses.
