KUALA LUMPUR - Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) will refer two MPs from the party who expressed support for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to its disciplinary board, says Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

He said the board would convene soon to determine the punishment for Gua Musang MP Mohd Azizi Abu Naim and Jeli MP Zahari Kechik.

"The first two cases involved Kuala Kangsar MP (Datuk Iskandar Dzulkarnain Abdul Khalid) and Labuan MP (Datuk Dr Suhaili Abdul Rahman) who were suspended for four and six years respectively by Bersatu," he said at a press conference after a special meeting of the party’s Supreme Leadership Council here yesterday.

Iskandar Dzulkarnain had announced his decision to support the Prime Minister on Oct 12, followed by Suhaili Abdul Rahman on Oct 30.

The same was done by Mohd Azizi on Tuesday (Nov 7) and Zahari two days later (Nov 9). - BERNAMA
