Retained minister highlight positive attitude, value-driven approach

IPOH - Ministers whose portfolios remained unchanged in Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's recent Cabinet reshuffle stressed their commitment to contributing value to the Unity Government.

Speaking to reporters after an event, Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli acknowledged the responsibility that comes with serving in the government.

"As a minister, it is my duty to dedicate myself to our work and ensure its continuity.

"Alhamdulillah, the plans we implemented have demonstrably added value to the government administration, and we will continue to do so," he said.

Rafizi stressed his willingness to adapt to any changes in his role.

"If I am assigned a different portfolio, I approach it with a positive attitude.

"I am guided by the principle of finding value in the tasks entrusted to me," he said.

He further expressed his belief that all appointed officials should embrace this positive approach "because we are serving the nation and entrusting our decisions to those who are empowered to make them."

The recent reshuffle saw the departure of one minister and two deputy ministers, namely V Sivakumar (Human Resources), Ramkarpal Singh, and Datuk Siti Aminah Aching.

The overall Cabinet size increased from 28 to 31 ministers and 27 to 29 deputy ministers.
