'I accept PM's decision' - Sivakumar

IPOH - Batu Gajah MP V Sivakumar has accepted Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's decision to remove him from the Cabinet.

In a brief statement released via WhatsApp, Sivakumar acknowledged his tenure as Human Resources Minister and expressed gratitude to his colleagues.

"I accept the Prime Minister's decision.

"I have strived to fulfill my duties to the best of my ability during the past year as Human Resources Minister.

"I am grateful to all the members of the Ministry who have consistently supported me," he said.

Earlier today, Anwar announced a Cabinet reshuffle, including changes to several portfolios and the appointment of new ministers and deputy ministers.

Bukit Mertajam MP Steven Sim replaces Sivakumar as Human Resources Minister, while Lipis MP Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Mohamad takes over the Deputy Minister position.
