Christmas cheer blossoms as Lotus's #KitakanJiran reaches children across Klang Valley

SELAYANG - Children in the Klang Valley are set for a brighter Christmas this year thanks to the generosity of Lotus's Malaysia employees, customers, and mall tenants.

The #KitakanJiran-inspired "Lotus's Playful and Joyful Moments Secret Santa Initiative" has garnered heartwarming support, ensuring gifts and festive fun for those who might otherwise go without.

"Many celebrate the holidays with loved ones, but for some, it can be a difficult time.

"Driven by our community spirit, we wanted to bring joy to children who may not expect a gift this Christmas," Lotus's Malaysia Corporate Services Executive Director Azliza Azmel told Sinar Daily today.

Azliza expressed gratitude to everyone involved, from Lotus's staff and customers to mall partners, for making this initiative a success. Beneficiaries include children from various homes across the region, including Karunai Illam Welfare Home Kepong and Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ephratha Rawang.

Beyond receiving personalised gifts, the children enjoyed a "Play Date" featuring activities and games hosted by Mattel brands like Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Polly Pocket, and Scrabble.

Lotus's Malls Head Melissa Wong expressed delight at the positive response to their efforts to create family-friendly spaces.

"We're thankful to everyone who contributed to making Christmas brighter for these children," she said.

The fun doesn't end there! The "Lotus's Playful and Joyful Moments" activities continue until January 1, 2024 at four participating Lotus's locations: Mutiara Damansara, Selayang, Klang, Kepong and Rawang.
