4,895 Palestinian students killed in Israel's ongoing aggression since Oct 7

RAMALLAH - Palestine’s Education Ministry stated that 4,895 students have been killed and 8,514 injured since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank on Oct 7.

Of the total, 4,851 students were killed and 8,227 others were wounded in the Gaza Strip.

In the West Bank, 44 students were killed and 283 others were injured, in addition to 89 being detained, Palestine News and Information Agency (WAFA) cited the statement.

The statement noted that 239 teachers and administrators were also killed in the Gaza Strip and 836 injured, while more than 71 were detained in the West Bank.

The ministry pointed out that 620,000 students are still deprived of enrollment in their schools since Oct 7.

According to the ministry, 286 government schools and 65 affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees (UNRWA) were bombed and vandalised in the Gaza Strip.
