The bodies were seen being loaded into police trucks and transported out of the crash site at 8.05pm.

KLANG - Bodies of the pilot and co-pilot who were killed after an aircraft crash in Kampung Tok Muda, Kapar, were retrieved after about six hours of search operations.

The bodies, which were earlier reported to have been found in the cockpit of the downed aircraft were seen being loaded into the police trucks and transported out of the crash site at 8.05pm.

Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said the bodies would be taken to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, here, for post-mortems.

Earlier, Hussein confirmed that the two victims were killed after the light aircraft they were travelling in crashed at an oil palm plantation at about 1.45pm today.

Hussein added that the 1,300 kg aircraft plunged more than two metres deep at the palm oil plantation ground.

He said that the victims were locals in their 30s and 40s.

The search operation today involved 150 personnel from the police, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department, Civil Defence Department and other agencies.
