Petrol bombs thrown at KL’s nightclub
Four individuals were seen throwing objects believed to be petrol bombs at the premises.
KUALA LUMPUR - A commotion ensued in front of an entertainment centre near Jalan Yap Kwan Seng here after a group of individuals threw petrol bombs in an early Thursday morning incident.
The first viral video of the incident, based on closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage at the scene, showed four individuals riding motorcycles in front of the said entertainment centre.
The individuals were then seen throwing objects believed to be petrol bombs towards the premises before fleeing.
The second viral video showed several individuals assisting in extinguishing the fire at the scene.
Meanwhile, Dang Wangi district deputy police chief Superintendent Nazron Abd Yusof said they were still conducting further investigations into the incident.
"An investigation regarding the incident is being carried out under Section 435 of the Penal Code," he added.
