NEW DELHI - Renowned Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, 59, was rushed to Ahmedabad Hospital, Gujarat, India, due to heat stroke and dehydration yesterday.

It is understood that the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actor was in Ahmedabad to watch the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket match involving the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), accompanied by his children, Suhana and Abram.

After the match, Shah Rukh Khan arrived at the Narmada Hotel, but his condition worsened the following day before being rushed to the hospital.

Shah Rukh Khan suffered from heat stroke and dehydration due to the extreme heat in Ahmedabad, with temperatures reportedly reaching 45.2 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and 45.9 degrees Celsius the following day.

However, the actor is reported to be in stable condition.

The update was shared by fellow artist and famous Indian actress Juhi Chawla.

"Shah Rukh Khan was not feeling well yesterday, but after treatment, his condition is now very good.

"He will also be attending the cricket final scheduled for May 26, which will certainly boost the team's spirits," she told News18.
