KUALA LUMPUR - Seven Bank, the banking arm of the 7-Eleven group, has officially launched its automated teller machine (ATM) services in Malaysia under the new brand name Reachful.
Announced during a press event at Berjaya Times Square Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the initiative aims to enhance banking accessibility, particularly in suburban areas.
The bank began its Malaysian operations in January 2025 with the installation of its first cash recycling machine in Rawang. By the end of the year, the company plans to roll out 100 ATMs across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang and Johor.
Looking ahead to 2026, Seven Bank intends to expand into Sabah and Sarawak, ensuring wider access for communities with limited banking options.

"We have established a new brand name, Reachful, as a strong start in Malaysia and a continued growth of our overseas business.
"By collaborating with our partner companies to deploy ATM services in 7-Eleven stores in Malaysia, we hope to enrich the lives of the Malaysian people and contribute to further social development and economic growth," he said.
Meanwhile, Reachful Malaysia Sdn Bhd CEO Jin Sudo highlighted the country’s economic potential.
"Malaysia shows a significant growth in population and gross domestic product (GDP). In the cashless society, currency in circulation is at a high level too.

Since expanding outside of Japan in 2017, Seven Bank has established itself in markets including the US, Indonesia and the Philippines, and by 2024, had deployed over 21,000 ATMs worldwide.
With Malaysia becoming its fourth overseas market, the company plans to integrate retail and financial services, providing added value to consumers.
The ATM rollout under the Reachful brand marks an important milestone in Seven Bank’s mission to create greater financial accessibility and foster economic growth in Malaysia.
