"How could they take the money of someone who has passed away?

"It wasn’t someone from outside, but people close to me because the ones who came to my house were friends, the police, doctors, forensic teams and others I've seen," he said on Tuesday during a live broadcast on his TikTok account.

Previously, his late wife, Akiko Okumura, passed away on Feb 28 after reportedly falling from the fourth floor of a condominium in Subang Jaya.

Ridzokumura believed that his wife might have slipped while cleaning the house, a task she often did before the Ramadan month.

At the same time, Ridzokumura said that he did not want to point fingers or directly blame anyone regarding the incident.

"I don't blame anyone, it's my fault for not keeping the money properly. The one who took it is the one at fault... it’s wrong for them to take something from the deceased and from God.

"It's not right to take money from someone who has passed away. I'm disappointed. Let that person answer to God... if the deceased doesn't forgive them, then they won’t be forgiven," he said.

He explained that the money was extra savings after they returned from Japan around February and was stored in two thick envelopes inside his wife's bag.

"After that, I never touched the money. Just two or three days ago, I realised.

"The money isn't a small amount, I estimate it to be between RM60,000 and RM70,000. That’s what I saw," he said.

Ridzokumura also mentioned that he wasn’t sure if any accessories or other valuables were also missing.

He explained that the CCTV cameras in his house were not working, preventing the identification of the person who took the money.
