TAPAH – The atmosphere at the Tapah Pas Complex, which had been a gathering point for Perikatan Nasional (PN) supporters, appeared rather gloomy, with only a handful of the party's state leaders present as they awaited the results of the Ayer Kuning state by-election.

Among those present were state opposition leader Razman Zakaria, Perak Pas deputy commissioner Mohd Akmal Kamarudin and Parit Buntar MP Misbahul Munir Masduki.
