Op Outlander: Three more held, including two Home Ministry officers

All three individuals are currently having their statements recorded at MACC headquarters in Putrajaya for further investigation.

KUALA LUMPUR - The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) yesterday detained two officers from the Home Ministry (KDN) and another individual to assist in investigations into a corruption case involving the expedited processing of citizenship status confirmation (PTW) applications.

In a statement today, the MACC said all three individuals, aged between 50 and 65, were arrested in an operation conducted between 1 pm and 5 pm in Putrajaya.

"This operation is a continuation of Op Outlander carried out by the MACC recently, and the Home Ministry has extended full cooperation in the investigation,” the statement said.

All three individuals are currently having their statements recorded at MACC headquarters in Putrajaya for further investigation.
