PUTRAJAYA – The 12-year-old son of Pandan MP and former economy minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli was reportedly attacked and is now under hospital observation.
According to a report by online news portal Malaysiakini, Rafizi confirmed the incident via WhatsApp, saying that his son was undergoing medical checks and will be under observation.
He added that an official statement will be issued soon.
While the exact circumstances remained unclear, preliminary information suggested that the attack occurred at around 1.30pm today at a mall car park, here.
Sepang police chief Norhizam Bahaman, who was present at the hospital, confirmed the time and location of the incident.
However, no further details on the suspect or possible motive have been released at this stage.
The incident has drawn public concern, with many closely following updates on the boy’s condition and the ongoing police probe.
