Pasir Mas student assaulted, nearly strangled in school bullying case

PASIR MAS - A horrifying case of school bullying has left a student injured and traumatised after he was allegedly assaulted.

The student also allegedly had his pants pulled down and was nearly strangled with a wire by six Form Four students.

The incident, which took place on Tuesday morning, was revealed by the victim’s aunt through a Facebook post.

“My nephew was kicked, punched, beaten, slapped, had his pants pulled down to his knees, and his neck was nearly strangled with wire.

"If the teacher had not passed by, perhaps my nephew would have died at the hands of the bullies,” she wrote.

She also claimed that on the same night, six families of the alleged bullies came to the victim’s parents’ house to ask for the case to be withdrawn.

“All of the bullies are only in Form Four, yet they are capable of thinking and doing things at this level. What will happen when they reach the age of 20?” she asked.

The victim’s mother admitted that she remains traumatised by the incident but has chosen to hand the case over to the police for investigation.

Pasir Mas District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Kama Azural Mohamed confirmed that the police had received a complaint regarding the case.
