KUALA LUMPUR – A 48-year-old woman died after she was believed to have fallen from the 14th floor of an apartment in Semenyih yesterday.
According to a witness who is also the building’s security guard, the victim was seen sitting on her balcony before falling into the vehicle parking area.
Kajang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof said they received a call from a member of the public regarding the incident at about 5.18pm.
He said the victim was confirmed dead at the scene due to severe head and thigh injuries by a medical assistant.
Naazron said the woman's body was taken to the Kajang Hospital for a post-mortem examination and the case has been classified as sudden death.
