SHAH ALAM - National footballer Faisal Halim's Instagram has been flooded with messages of support and well-wishes from fans, following growing attention on issues concerning his marriage.
Supporters of the Selangor FC winger, affectionately known as Mickey, have taken to the comments section to offer encouragement, prayers and words of strength during this challenging period.
“May Allah grant you strength and ease your heart through this test,” wrote user @atita.rahman7.
Another user, @izzzfarr, expressed similar sentiments, praying for Faisal to stay strong and that all matters be made easier for him.
“Stay calm and strong through it all, wishing you a smooth recovery… keep it up Mickey,” posted @ceqpit.
Another fan, @mohdsaifulanuar, wrote: “InshaAllah, Faisal will keep moving forward. Good luck Mickey.”
Previously, it was reported that Faisal’s wife, Nur Syazwani Mizuana Shahril, had filed for divorce at the Klang Lower Syariah Court on Tuesday.
However, the proceedings were only at the initial mention stage, with no official decision yet on the status of their marriage.
Faisal and Nur Syazwani were married on March 9, 2019 and have a son, Khalish Aryan.
Faisal has also endured a traumatic experience in the past, having been the victim of an acid attack at a shopping centre in Kota Damansara on 5 May last year.
On May 8 this year, his lawyer confirmed that the Attorney General’s Chambers had classified the case as requiring no further action (NFA).
