SHAH ALAM – If you’re a frequent Rapid KL bus user, your rides could soon earn you a little extra cash.
From today until November 30, Rapid KL is running its #JomNaikFeeder 2.0 campaign, giving passengers the chance to redeem Touch ’n Go e-wallet pins worth up to RM10, just by hopping on the feeder bus.
Here’s how it works:
- Complete 20 rides, and you’ll get RM5 in your e-wallet.
- Hit 30 rides, and you’ll score RM10.
All you need to do is scan the QR code on the bus, register and use the same card each time you travel. But be quick, the rewards are only for the first 1,000 passengers who qualify.
The campaign is open to cashless users, including those using the My50 Pass, MyCity, MyTourist, MyRapid Concession Card, OKU Smile and Touch ’n Go cards.
Rapid KL says it’s aiming for a 6.8 per cent boost in ridership compared to the first phase of the campaign, which saw usage go up by 5.5 per cent by the end of last year.
"This campaign clearly demonstrates that feeder buses are increasingly gaining ground as the preferred choice for first-and-last mile travel,” the statement said.
Prasarana Malaysia Berhad Stakeholder Experience Management & Group Marketing acting head Ashok Panchalingam said the success of #JomNaikFeeder 1.0 inspired the company to continue this effort.
