An unforgettable night of melodies filled the air last Saturday as legendary composer Vidyasagar returned to Malaysia for his second concert, 'The Name is Vidyasagar: Revisit'.

Known for soundtracking the lives of an entire generation, Vidyasagar delivered a night to remember, pulling out timeless gems like 'Ore Manam' from Citizen and 'Poi Solla Kudathu.' And just when fans thought the composer would stay behind his keys, he surprised the crowd by performing the classic 'Hey Saloma' himself, a show-stopping opening act.

But Vidyasagar was not alone. He brought a dream team of singers who have given life to his compositions over the years. Madhu Balakrishnan, Swetha Mohan and Karthik set the stage alight with their soulful renditions, while Super Singer sensation Pooja Venkat and Ajay Krishnan added youthful energy to the night.

Each artist brought their A-game, captivating the audience with their powerful performances.

The most talked-about highlight came from Vidyasagar’s son, Harsha Vardhan, who broke from tradition to take the spotlight not just to sing, but to dance as well.

The night was also filled with soul-stirring moments courtesy of singer Pushpavanam Kuppusamy, who performed 'Thottu Thottu Pesum' and 'Parai', the very songs he originally gave life to.

The crowd sang along word for word, a testament to the timeless power of those tracks.

For Vijay fans, a massive goosebumps moment arrived with the performance of 'Arjunar Villu' from the iconic film Ghilli.

The arena erupted in cheers, with fans reliving one of the most beloved tracks in Tamil cinema history.

The concert also featured a brand-new Malay single from homegrown star Mimyfly, composed by Vidyasagar himself.
