“This issue not only involves the shame of myself and my partner, but also affects our children and extended family.

However, checks by Sinarplus found that the woman had since deleted several of the recordings from her TikTok account.

Commenting on the matter, Perlis Mufti Professor Datuk Dr Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin warned that exposing a spouse’s infidelity publicly was a major sin.

“She cannot justify the act by saying that her husband also committed a sin. One sin does not justify another.

“Exposing the disgrace of a husband only tarnishes one’s own name and also harms the children. Similarly, a husband should not do the same to his wife,” he said.

He explained that if a wife wanted to protest her husband’s infidelity, she should confront him directly or take the case to court.

“If she can no longer accept her husband, she can file for fasakh or separation by presenting her reasons in court.

“Similarly, if a husband believes his wife has been unfaithful, he can accuse her in court through the process of li’an or he may directly divorce her.

“Making netizens the ‘court’ to judge personal sins is a prohibited act. This is because those sins have no connection to netizens, nor is there any need for them to know,” he added.
