SHAH ALAM – Actor Nadzmi Adhwa revealed that his wife, Ardell Aryana, sustained a torn injury to her shoulder.
The update was shared by Nadzmi in a post on the Threads platform on Sunday.
“There are more injuries on Ardell’s shoulder, it’s torn. Allahuakbar,” he wrote.
Nadzmi also issued a warning to those spreading speculation or false claims regarding his wife’s current condition.
“Ardell drew attention during this mission, that’s why she was targeted. Because her views were the highest? Anyone who talks nonsense about my wife, beware. The world is watching,” he said.
Earlier, media reports stated that Ardell, whose real name is Nurul Hidayah Mohd Amin, had been admitted to a hospital in Istanbul, Türkiye, for treatment after suffering from low blood pressure and injuries sustained while under Israeli military detention.
It was reported that the actress endured brutal treatment, including having her headscarf pulled and being punched in the face by Zionist soldiers, resulting in injuries during the interception of a humanitarian vessel she was aboard.
On Thursday, 23 Malaysian activists participating in the Global Solidarity Flotilla (GSF) mission were detained by Israeli forces after their ships were intercepted in international waters near Gaza.
Those detained included singer Heliza Helmi and her sister Nur Hazwani Afiqah (aboard Hio); Nurfarahin Romli (Farah Lee) and Danish Nazran Murad (Grande Blu); Zizi Kirana (Huga); Musa Nuwayri, Iylia Balqis and Sul Aidil (Alma); Haikal Abdullah, Muaz Zainal, Zulfadhli Khiruddin and Rusyai Ramli (Sirius).
Also detained were Razali Awang (Inana); Nurul Hidayah Mohd Amin or Ardell Aryana (Mikeno); PU Rahmat, Norhelmi Ab Ghani, Mohd Asmawi Mukhtar and Norazman Ishak (Estrella); Zainal Rashid and Ustaz Muhammad Abduliah (Fair Lady) and Muhammad Hareez Adzrami (Harogs), Muhd Haikal Lugman Zulkefli and Taufiq Mohd Razif (Free Willy).
