PU Rahmat said the incident showed how terrified the Israeli forces were of activists who only carried a message of peace and humanity.

He was interrogated multiple times by the Zionist regime’s intelligence officers with questions about Hamas and the Ikhwanul Muslimin.

KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysian preacher and Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) volunteer PU Rahmat reveals that he was stripped naked three times while in Israeli detention, describing the act as humiliating and unjustified.

Independent preacher Rahmat Ikhsan Mohd Sofyan, better known as PU Rahmat, said he was subjected to the degrading treatment under the pretext of a security check to ensure he was not carrying any hidden weapons.

“I was stripped three times. The first on the ship, the second at immigration and the third in prison.

“All because they (the Zionists) were afraid that we might have weapons,” he said.

He disclosed this in a video recording shared by the Centre for Human Rights Research and Advocacy (CENTHRA) lawyer Ahmad Nazrin Abu Bakar, on Facebook.

Rahmat said the incident showed how terrified the Israeli forces were of activists who only carried a message of peace and humanity.

He further emphasised that they were not military personnel but from the way the Israel soldiers boarded the ship, it was clear that they were terrified.

He added that their movements were uncoordinated and scared of their own shadows.

During his detention, Rahmat said he was interrogated multiple times by the Zionist regime’s intelligence officers with questions about Hamas and the Ikhwanul Muslimin.

“He asked me, do you know Hamas? I answered, I know Hamas, but I know humus even better.

“Then he asked about the Ikhwanul Muslimin and I replied with a Quranic verse, ‘Innamal Mu’minuna Ikhwan’ – indeed, we are all brothers,” he recounted humorously.

He also recalled an incident when Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir visited the detention area and attempted to provoke the activists by calling them killers.

He said Ben-Gvir came to provoke the volunteers and accused them of killing Jewish children, in which they replied, “You are the ones killing Palestinian children,” and the Israel’s National Security Minister immediately walked away.

“If he was really brave, he would have fought back, but he was scared,” Rahmat said.

He added that the soldiers’ fear reflected a deep sense of guilt for the injustice committed against the Palestinians.

Rahmat said the nation is full of fear because they know they are guilty. The guilty are always afraid and that is why they are paranoid

He concluded that the Zionist soldiers’ fear showed they lacked moral courage to face activists fighting for justice.

“From the soldiers to the immigration officers, all of them were afraid. Even their minister was afraid. They fear the truth.

“We are brave because we are on the side of truth. May we all remain steadfast in truth,” he said.
