SHAH ALAM – A Form Four female student from a secondary school in Petaling Jaya has died after she was allegedly stabbed by a male schoolmate on Tuesday morning.
The incident reportedly occurred around 9.30am when the suspect, a Form Two student, was believed to have brought a knife to school before attacking the older student.
According to initial reports, the female victim sustained fatal injuries after being stabbed by the younger student.
Police have since cordoned off the area and are conducting investigations at the scene.
Authorities said more details will be shared during an early press conference to be held at the school.
Petaling Jaya District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Shamsudin Mamat and a team of investigators remain at the scene to gather evidence and statements from witnesses.
