SHAH ALAM - Asia’s first Lego Ferrari Build & Race attraction has officially opened at Legoland Malaysia Resort, combining the thrill of motorsports with the creativity of Lego play.
The new attraction features over 420,000 Lego bricks, weighs 1,600 kilogrammes and took more than 1,300 hours to build.
Its centrepiece is the world’s first life-sized Lego Ferrari F50, a remarkable showcase of engineering and design.
Located in the Imagination Zone, the experience includes five interactive areas.
They are Ferrari Garage, Build Zone, Test Zone, Virtual Race Zone and a Duplo Build Area for younger visitors.
Visitors can design, build and test their own Lego Ferrari before racing it virtually on a digital replica of Ferrari’s Pista di Fiorano track in Italy.
The launch was officiated by Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, marking another milestone for Johor’s tourism sector.
"This experience captures the essence of both Lego and Ferrari - creativity, innovation and excitement, all brought to life in a way families can enjoy together," said Legoland Malaysia Resort vice-president Cs Lim.
Global Creative Manager Experience at Ferrari Benoit Montaigne said the Lego Ferrari Build & Race attraction is a fun, interactive way to share that spirit with new generations
The opening supports upcoming initiatives such as Visit Johor Year 2026 and Visit Malaysia Year 2026, positioning Legoland Malaysia as a key family destination in Southeast Asia.
Families can also enjoy the Triple Park Annual Pass Family Bundles, offering unlimited access to the Theme Park, Water Park and Sea Life Aquarium, along with special perks like early previews, free parking and discounts.
