"Healing with my granddaughter. Alhamdulillah, I’m gradually recovering. Thank you for all your prayers,” the post read.

Yesterday, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), in a statement, said Anwar had to cancel his working visit to Pahang scheduled for Sunday on the advice of his medical team, after experiencing back pain that limited his movement and required adequate rest.

The PMO also said the Prime Minister sincerely apologised, especially to the people of Pahang who had prepared to welcome him.

Anwar returned home on Saturday after concluding his working visit to South Korea, where he led the Malaysian delegation to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM) last Friday.
