KUANTAN – The public is urged not to be influenced by narrow political sentiments that could disrupt harmony and cause setbacks for both the people and the government.
Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail said the state government had focused its efforts and planning on initiatives that directly benefit the people.
He highlighted the public should evaluate the government based on its actual performance, not political rhetoric.
“If the government has fulfilled its responsibilities, even if not completely, but still provides well-being for the people, then that government deserves to continue.
“Do not listen to divisive politics that only seek to disrupt harmony,” he said.
He was speaking during the Town Hall Rakyat programme organised by Sinar Harian at Dewan Datuk Seri Abdul Manan Ismail here on Tuesday.
Wan Rosdy also listed down various forms of assistance that had been implemented or were in progress under the state government.
Among them, he said were aid for mothers giving birth, senior citizens and funeral management, all of which would be included in the State Budget.
