Oscar, who has recently been plagued by injuries, is under contract with São Paulo until the end of 2027. Brazilian media are now speculating that he could end his career prematurely.

After making his professional debut with his home club São Paulo, Oscar played in the Premier League for Chelsea from 2012 to 2016 before moving to Shanghai Port in China.
