SHAH ALAM – As the year draws to a close, local cake and café chain Secret Recipe is inviting Malaysians to slow down and savour life’s little pleasures with its new “Make Life Sweeter” campaign.

Much like a warm hug, Secret Recipe aims to create a sense of belonging, bringing Malaysians together through a shared love of comforting meals and sweet treats.

Secret Recipe Group chief executive officer Patrick Sim said that with more than 28 years in the business and over 365 outlets nationwide, the brand continues to position itself as a familiar, welcoming space where people feel at home.

Beyond birthdays and anniversaries, Secret Recipe wants Malaysians to find joy in everyday gatherings, whether it is a casual catch-up, a quiet work session or a shared meal with loved ones.

To complement the campaign, the brand has introduced two limited-time dine-in deals designed for different moods and occasions. Set Chill, ideal for relaxed catch-ups or afternoon breaks, comes with two slices of cake and two selected drinks.

Cake options include all flavours except brownies and chocolate lava, while drinks range from signature beverages and coffee to ice blended drinks, milkshakes and chocolate-based selections.

For those dining solo or craving a more filling option, Set Santai pairs one slice of cake with a selected main course.

Choices include favourites such as Curry Mee, Secret Recipe Fried Rice with Satay, Thai Style Fried Rice with Grilled Mackerel, Vietnamese Beef Noodle, grilled chicken dishes, as well as a variety of pasta options.

Customers who prefer to dine at home are not left out.

The campaign’s exclusive sets are also available on GrabFood, with Set Besties offering two cake slices and two drinks, while Set Tenang includes one main course and one slice of cake.

Adding to the sweetness, Secret Recipe has also introduced its latest dessert inspired by the Land of Smiles, the Thai Milk Tea cake.

The new creation features layers of tea-infused sponge cake, Thai tea mascarpone cream and Chantilly cream, finished with a smooth coating of whipped cream and Thai tea glaze.

Priced at RM13.50 per slice and RM105 for a whole cake, the Thai Milk Tea cake is now available at Secret Recipe outlets across Peninsular Malaysia.

From Dec 1, to Jan 31, 2026, customers who purchase a slice of the cake will also stand a chance to win a trip to Thailand, with return flight tickets sponsored by Secret Recipe.

To participate, customers simply need to purchase at least one slice of Thai Milk Tea cake in a single receipt, scan the QR code provided, fill in the entry form and upload their receipt.

SR Rewards members will receive an additional entry by including their membership number. The campaign offers three grand prizes in the form of Thailand travel vouchers worth RM3,000 each, along with 15 consolation prizes of RM200 Secret Recipe cash vouchers.
