SHAH ALAM - “I can’t imagine how you’re feeling right now.”

That was the message shared by Nooryana Najwa, daughter of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, after the Kuala Lumpur High Court today dismissed an application linked to an alleged Addendum Order that would have allowed her father to serve his prison sentence under house arrest.

Better known as Yana Najib, she took to Instagram Stories to express her sadness and disappointment over the court’s decision, describing the moment as emotionally difficult for her family.

“So sorry, daddy. Can’t imagine how you’re feeling at this moment. Be strong, okay? We live to fight another day, as always. Take care of your health, daddy - that’s the most important thing,” she wrote.

In the same series of posts, Yana shared screenshots of news reports related to her father’s case, including an article quoting Najib’s former personal chef, who said he was eager to cook 'sup kicap' (soy sauce soup) – a favourite dish of the former prime minister.

Earlier, High Court judge Datuk Alice Loke Yee Ching ruled that the alleged Addendum Order was neither discussed nor decided upon during the 61st Federal Territories Pardons Board meeting held on Jan 29, last year.

The court’s decision effectively dismissed Najib’s application to have his remaining prison sentence served under house arrest.
