JOHOR BAHRU - A 12-year-old boy who was reported missing from Taman Bukit Indah, here, is safely back home after leaving the house following a disagreement with his parents over an iPad.
Iskandar Puteri district police chief Assistant Commissioner M. Kumarasan said a missing persons report had been lodged by the boy’s 47-year-old father at 10.46am the previous day.
“The child is believed to have left the house after sulking with his parents because he was not allowed to play with the iPad,” he said in a statement today.
He said initial investigations found that the boy had been hiding in a vacant house located near his family residence.
