Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal said the call followed the viral circulation of a reply letter from Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang to an invitation for a pre-council meeting called by Muhyiddin to discuss PN’s direction.

SHAH ALAM – A suspended member of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia’s (Bersatu) Supreme Leadership Council has urged Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to step down honourably as party president to ensure the survival of both Bersatu and Perikatan Nasional (PN).

Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal said the call followed the viral circulation of a reply letter from Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang to an invitation for a pre-council meeting called by Muhyiddin to discuss PN’s direction.

He said the letter suggested Muhyiddin had allegedly deviated from what was previously agreed, particularly over efforts to return as PN chairman.
