SHAH ALAM – MYNIC Berhad has announced colourwheel.com.my, owned by Chia Joon Jian, as the grand prize winner of its RevUp & Register 2.0 Campaign.
The year-long campaign, which ran from Jan 1, 2025, to Dec 31, 2025, was designed to encourage businesses and individuals to strengthen their digital presence through the registration of .MY domain names.
MYNIC Berhad Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Datuk Hasnul Fadhly Hasan stated that the initiative reflected MYNIC’s ongoing commitment to supporting digital transformation among Malaysians.
He stated that the campaign not only promoted Malaysia’s national digital identity but also positioned the .MY domain is a credible option on the global stage.
“While rooted in Malaysia’s national digital identity, the .MY domain name is now open to global registrants, enabling businesses and individuals worldwide to establish a credible online presence while benefiting from the reputation and reliability of Malaysia’s digital infrastructure,” he said.
Hasnul added that the .MY domain symbolised trust, credibility and a strong connection to Malaysia’s digital ecosystem.
“We extend our congratulations to Chia Joon Jian and our appreciation to all participants for supporting the .MY domain name ecosystem and its growing presence in the global digital landscape,” he added.
The RevUp & Register 2.0 Campaign aligned with the Malaysia Madani digitalisation agenda and supported the Digital Ministry’s efforts to accelerate the nation’s digital economy while strengthening the adoption of a national digital identity.
