KUALA LUMPUR — After four consecutive years of success and strong audience turnout, Atas Angin Festival 2026 is set to return for what organisers are calling its most ambitious edition yet.
Branded “One Last Shine”, the festival will take place on Feb 14 at Rooftop @7, MyTown KL, promising a larger-scale experience that is bolder, more dynamic and distinctly different from previous years.
This year’s edition will feature 50 local artists performing across two main stages, delivering live music throughout the day.
The festival is scheduled to run for 15 continuous hours, from 9am to midnight, with the primary aim of elevating Malaysian artists and giving local talent a wider platform.
Beyond its growing reputation at home, Atas Angin MY has also set its sights on becoming Southeast Asia’s largest indie music festival, reflecting the organiser’s long-term vision for the event.
Project Director Arif Imran better known as Bam said the festival stands apart from conventional music events in Malaysia.
“This festival is different from others. It not only has the potential to reshape the festival landscape in Malaysia, but also to make an impact internationally.
“Our six-year journey with Atas Angin MY has shown how much we have matured in planning and executing events and this year’s festival is a reflection of that growth,” he said.
With its expanded line-up, extended run time and focus on homegrown talent, Atas Angin Festival 2026: One Last Shine is expected to draw music fans from across the country for what could be a landmark closing chapter in the festival’s journey.
