KUALA LUMPUR - IJM Corporation Bhd non-executive chairman Tan Sri Krishnan Tan says he has fully cooperated with authorities and will continue to do so in relation to the investigations by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
In a statement yesterday, he said that he is not involved in the day-to-day operations and management of the company.
"I have fully cooperated with the authorities and will continue to do so. I have full confidence in the enforcement process and the laws of the country.
"At this juncture, it would not be appropriate for me to comment further as investigations are ongoing," he said.
Meanwhile, in a separate statement, IJM Corp said the company has been fully cooperating with the authorities by responding promptly to all requests and has made available all relevant information and personnel in relation to the ongoing investigation by MACC.
It said the board wishes to assure all stakeholders that the company’s business operations continue as usual.
IJM said appropriate measures have been taken to ensure that the group’s business is conducted with integrity and free of corruption, adding that it has established adequate procedures and maintains robust governance frameworks, including the implementation of an Anti-Bribery Management System certified to ISO 37001:2025.
It also said the board and management team remain focused on business continuity, maintaining confidence among customers and partners, and upholding strong corporate governance and compliance standards.
"As this matter is currently under investigation, the company will not be making further comments at this stage.
"The company will provide updates where appropriate and in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements," said IJM Corp. - BERNAMA
