PUTRAJAYA – If you’re planning your next nature getaway, Malaysia wants you to look beyond the beaches and city skylines - and into the rainforest canopy, where the shy and endangered Malayan Sun Bear roams.

As part of Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026), travellers are being invited to discover the real-life inspiration behind the campaign’s official mascots, Wira and Manja, two cheerful sun bears designed to spotlight the country’s wildlife and conservation efforts.
