SHAH ALAM – Renowned comedian and YouTube sensation Nigel Ng, famously known as Uncle Roger, is set to embrace fatherhood as he and his wife, Sabrina Ahmed prepare to welcome their first child.
The Malaysian-born content creator shared the joyful news via an Instagram post last week, coinciding with festive celebrations.
“New nephew coming soon. Happy Lunar New Year and Ramadan Mubarak,” he posted, using his signature character's persona to announce the addition to his family.
The announcement featured a heartwarming photograph of Nigel resting his hand on Sabrina’s baby bump, accompanied by an ultrasound scan.
The couple tied the knot in July last year, following a high-profile relationship that captured the interest of fans worldwide.
Nigel first introduced Sabrina to his audience in a YouTube video in September 2024, although the pair had been the subject of public speculation since May 2023 when photographs of them together began circulating online.
Their relationship was formally confirmed with a Valentine’s Day post in February 2024.
Nigel first achieved global recognition in 2020 after his satirical review of a BBC Food tutorial on cooking egg fried rice went viral.
Since then, his YouTube channel has amassed over 10 million subscribers, making him one of the most influential digital creators in the region.
Beyond his digital success, Nigel has successfully transitioned into the food and beverage industry.
He currently operates six restaurants across Malaysia, including a prominent outlet at KLIA Terminal 2.
Nigel business footprint is set to expand internationally, with a highly anticipated new restaurant scheduled to open in London this April.
