All eyes on 3pm: PM Anwar set to make announcement

PUTRAJAYA – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will hold a press conference at 3pm today.

However, the invitation circulated to the Putrajaya media did not specify the purpose of the press conference.

The event is expected to be broadcast live on television channels and on the official social media platforms of local media outlets.

Earlier, the Prime Minister’s Senior Press Secretary Tunku Nashrul Abaidah said Anwar is expected to announce several more pieces of good news for the public ahead of the Aidilfitri celebrations.

He added that the government has already announced seven immediate intervention measures to help ease the burden on the people ahead of Syawal.
