Former politician Marina Md Yusoff, mother of Ida Nerina, dies

KUALA LUMPUR - Actress Ida Nerina's mother, Datuk Marina Md Yusoff, passed away yesterday due to old age.

The deceased Marina, 84, breathed her last at 5.16pm at a private hospital in the federal capital.

When contacted by Bernama, Ida Nerina informed that her mother breathed her last with family members at her side.

The body will be prayed at the Saidina Umar Al-Khattab Mosque, Bukit Damansara at 10 am this morning before being buried at the Bukit Kiara Islamic Cemetery here.

The deceased was a former politician and entrepreneur and was once involved in the corporate world. - BERNAMA
