KUALA LUMPUR - The schooling session will continue as usual for now, and no decision has been made regarding the implementation of Home-Based Teaching and Learning (PdPR).
Education director-general Datuk Dr Mohd Azam Ahmad said that the Education Ministry (MOE) prioritises ensuring that students’ learning is not disrupted, while also safeguarding the welfare and well-being of all parties involved.
"MOE is concerned about the worries raised by the public regarding viral news about the possible implementation of PdPR,” he said in a statement today.
Deputy Education Minister Wong Kah Woh was reported to have said yesterday that the ministry will thoroughly review the implementation of PdPR to ensure that any decision made will take into account the interests of educators, parents, and students.
While Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz said last Thursday that flexible work arrangements, including working from home (WFH), are seen as one of the important measures to ensure the continuity of government operations in facing an increasingly uncertain world caused by geopolitical conflicts, disasters, or public health crises. - BERNAMA
