SHAH ALAM – The Madani Government has been urged to bring back its 'formula expert' to provide an explanation regarding the hike in fuel prices, which is alleged to be increasingly burdening the public.

Former Selangor Menteri Besar Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo said that the people require a detailed explanation that they can actually understand.

"The people need an explanation that is digestible," he said in a Facebook post on Friday.

Khir, who is also a member of Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu), stressed that the continuously soaring fuel prices have set a 'new record' for the Madani Government.

"We do not know when fuel prices will stop skyrocketing (following the increase in global oil prices due to the Middle East conflict).
