KUALA LUMPUR - The Education Ministry (MOE) will offer places in the 2026/2027 Matriculation Programme session to all 6,717 candidates who obtained 10As and above in the 2025 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination.
In a statement today, the MOE said the automatic offer is extended to all candidates who applied for the programme, irrespective of race or background.
"At the same time, the 90 per cent Bumiputera admission quota for the Matriculation programme remains and is unaffected," the statement read.
According to the ministry, the move aims to ensure that the nation's top performers are given the opportunity to pursue higher education in a structured, merit-based environment. - BERNAMA
