CYBERJAYA - The first of seven Malaysian-owned vessels from the Strait of Hormuz has arrived in the country, with another nearing local waters, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The Prime Minister added that the government would continue to monitor other vessels that have been given approval to traverse the straits.
"Iran has approved seven but one has technical issues and cannot depart from the port," he told reporters after attending Friday prayers at Surau Bomba Cyberjaya.
The seven Malaysian-owned vessels were stranded in the Strait of Hormuz due to the conflict between Iran and the United States-Israel alliance that started on Feb 28.
