PETALING JAYA – Two terrace houses, three cars and a motorcycle were destroyed in a fire along Jalan SS 5D/6 here on Sunday.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Operations Division Assistant Director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said they received an emergency call regarding the incident at 7.40pm.
“A total of 16 personnel and officers, along with fire engines from the Petaling Jaya Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) and assistance from BBP Damansara, rushed to the scene, located eight kilometres away,” he said in a statement on Monday.
Mukhlis said the first fire engine arrived at the scene about 15 minutes later and found that the fire involved two Class A terrace houses.
